Pick-up from Casablanca airport or accommodation. Visit the spectacular Hassan II Mosque on the Atlantic promontory. Explore Mohammed V Square, Rick’s Café, and the vibrant Corniche. Overnight hotel in Casablanca.
After breakfast, drive north along the Atlantic coast to Rabat. Visit the Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the Oudayas Kasbah. Continue north through the Rif Mountains to Chefchaouen — the legendary Blue City. Overnight in a hotel.
Morning stroll in Chefchaouen’s blue medina. Drive south to the UNESCO Roman ruins of Volubilis — Morocco’s finest ancient site. Continue to the imperial city of Meknes — Bab al-Mansour, Moulay Ismail Mausoleum. Drive east to Fes. Overnight in a riad.
Full day with a specialist local guide in Fes el-Bali. Driving tour: Royal Palace Gate, Jewish Mellah, Borj Sud viewpoint, Ceramic Village. Walking tour: Al-Qarawiyyin Mosque and University, Al-Attarine Madrasa, Chouara Tanneries, craft and spice souks. Overnight in a riad.
